Hey everybody...whoever is reading my blog! I was just told that Blogger was supposed to be shut down today, but I guess not. I'm so glad because I just started blogging & I love it!

It took me a day to read Ann Rule's 'Worth More Dead' Vol 10. Now, you're probably thinking 'Does this girl have a life?' In fact, I do! In a few weeks, I will be attending UCFV full time & I can't wait! I haven't been to school for such a long time, I don't know what to buy for school supplies! I'm not that old, though. I'm 27 years old. Anyways, back to Ann Rule. Her book, 'Worth More Dead' was in little booklets & that's why I read it so fast! It was very interesting, especially the title 'Worth More Dead'. It was about a US Marine named Roland Pitre. Now this guy sure knew how to entangle his own family & friends w/theft of property, attempted kidnapping of his stepson & murder! That's outrageous to say the least. Before Roland finally came to justice for these crimes, he was imprisoned for 'Conspiracy to First-Degree Murder' in a totally different circumstance involving his best friend & his ex-mistress. You would think he would be incarcerated for a long period of time, but his ever-so faithful wife from years before, Cheryl Pitre, stuck by Roland & somehow managed to get him paroled early. Now, I don't know about you, but I wouldn't have stuck around somebody who was in for murder. Cheryl must've really have loved him to do that, but years later she would regret it with her life. I really don't want to say anymore as you may have not read this book yet. So, I'll leave it at that. It's a real suspense thriller! I totally recommend it! Nobody in their right mind would want to miss an Ann Rule novel.

Look through my profile & you'll see that I put up a site where you can get deals on true crime novels. I have been collecting over the years, but I seem to lose a few here or there. You know, when you lend it out to your sister? You'll never see it again. So far, I have two true crime books w/me. I have other books up in Williams Lake, where I am originally from. I just moved down to Abbotsford, BC, Canada just a few months ago & I love the big city! Williams Lake is like cowboy country. You've heard of the Williams Lake Stampede, right? I recommend you go up north & try a little 'cowboy country'.

I was in the library the other day looking at the newspapers. In the headlines was Terry Driver aka 'The Abbotsford Killer', who just transferred to Pacific Institution, in Abbotsford, so he can take some programs. Terry Driver is in prison for attempted murder & first-degree murder of a few local girls in 1997. It just makes my skin crawl knowing a murderer is close by. I walk by Pacific Institution daily to visit my boyfriend, Joe, who is in Matsqui Institution for robbery. Yes, that's the main reason why I came down here! Joe & I have been together for like 8 years! I can't just let it go at that. So I decided to move here & get myself an education!

Well, I gotta run & get ready for my visit! Gotta go take a shower & all that!
